Destiny + Jacob

Engagement

Young love is a one of a kind feeling. Destiny and Jacob are two young souls full of young love for one another. Capturing their engagement session was such a pleasure for us. Our evening with them was spent at Ault Park in Cincinnati, Ohio on a cool fall November day.

Destiny is no stranger to being in front of our camera. Two years ago, she was a bridesmaid for her older sister, Jessica. Not to mention, we had the privilege of capturing her senior photos!

The day we met with this fun and goofy couple was Veterans Day and it was the perfect day for their engagement session. Jacob is not considered a veteran yet. He enlisted in the United States Army and is stationed in the North Carolina. Destiny has captured this soldier’s heart.

Meeting in high school, Destiny and Jacob shared the love for the JROTC. He decided to woo Destiny with UDF Ice Cream on their first date. Jacob must have been successful because a year later, they’re madly in love and planning their future together.

The rigid life of being a solider has not harden this young man’s romantic heart. Approximately a month ago, Jacob and Destiny headed to a waterfall they frequently visit. The trail leading to the falls was lined with lit candles, where Destiny accepted Jacob’s marriage proposal.

Planning the next step to of their love story will fall mostly on Destiny. They are shooting for a mid-summer rustic wedding outside of Cincinnati in Northern Kentucky.

Destiny and Jacob, we are excited you choose us to capture this exciting time in your life. Our advice during this hectic time is to remember why you love you each and keep your relationship a top priority. Congratulations on your engagement! Destiny… we know you’ll be a stunning bride and we can’t wait to see you in your dress.

Have a Lovely Weekend!

Nicole and Ryan
