Almost a year to the date from meeting Kenia for the first time at her bridal shower, I was headed to her capture her baby shower! Walking into the room, it was like reconnecting with old friends. There is nothing better than the feeling of being a part of the family.
On January 18, Kenia and Bret’s life was forever changed. They welcomed their sweet baby boy into the world. The couple announced they were expecting a new addition to their family shortly after their spring wedding by posting a photo from their honeymoon with Bret kneeling down in front of his new wife. Both were staring lovingly at her belly and photo included the simple caption “Paradise Beach In Mykonos with my cute family. Family of 3”
Bret was there to help set up before heading out for a afternoon… but we squeezed in a mini maternity session! The view from top of Ludlow was just beautiful. Honestly, it felt like we were in the mountains or the ills of Tennessee. 
This momma to be is slaying it!
Prior to his debut, Kenia and Bret’s little guy was celebrated at a Golf Inspired baby shower at the River’s Breeze Community Clubhouse. It was a few months before the “normal” time frame to host a baby shower, but Kenia’s mother was flying in from Peru to celebrate with her baby having a baby.
The afternoon was spent with tons of laughter, games, and delicious treats including a cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes. Besides getting to hang out with all the important ladies of her life, she and the little mister were spoiled!
One of my favorite qualities of Kenia… how her beautiful big smile is contagious and lights up the entire room!

Baby food game… sadly Kenia failed MISERABLY since she is a very picky eater. Let us hope baby boy enjoys a wider variety of food than his momma.
