After your meeting, if you've fallin' in love with our married couple charm (or maybe it's Ryan’s nerdiness) and know we’ll be the PERFECT fit for your wedding day, we make things official. Nicole will send over an online contract. Once we have the signed contract and a non-refundable retainer of $1,000.... WE'RE OFFICIALLY YOUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS! (Insert crowd cheering)

Awww engagement sessions are our favorite time to hang out with our couples before their wedding day! Don’t stress, we’ll teach you everything you need to know to be rock stars and to be prepared for your wedding photos. This is your time to shine without the pressure. FYI: A few things ALWAYS happen, Nicole will say something awkward and Ryan will end up on the ground!

We love to get together one final time about a month before the big day and hash out all the details we've gather from you. Our main objectives: 1. Finalize your Wedding Day Timeline (which Nicole helps create for you), 2. Must Have Photos Requests and Family Formal List and 3. Celebrate everything you’ve accomplished! This meeting is fun but defiantly work related.

IT’S YOUR WEDDING DAY! This is what it is all about… all your hard work is coming together and it’s time to celebrate the start of your life together as a married couple. Don’t worry about us, we’ve done this a few times and will make sure things work out as PERFECTLY as possible for you. Just sit back and savor this time because the day will seem to fly by in the blink of an eye.

While you're off partying like its 1999, we will be working hard behind the scenes to get all the beautiful photos we captured ready for you. You'll have your full gallery in no more than 8 weeks... but we'll share a sneak peek with you WAY before then because we know how much waiting sucks.

Here’s the short and simple version of how it all works. You don’t need a complicated process, just a smooth one.

Once you’re booked, we’ll chat through your proposal plans and the photography details. Within a week of the big day, we’ll meet at the location around the time you plan to propose so we can walk through exactly where everyone needs to be.

02. POP THE QUESTION then SOAK IT all IN
We’ll arrive early, get into position, and stay out of sight while you focus on the important part. From the anticipation to the reaction and the big YES, we’ll be there capturing it from multiple angles without interrupting the moment.
03. CELEBRATE and RELIVE THE YES
Once the secret is out, we’ll capture natural just-engaged portraits while you soak in everything that just happened. Afterward, your images will be professionally edited and delivered in an online gallery ready to relive and share.

We know surprise proposals don’t always run perfectly on schedule. We’ll have a communication plan in place beforehand so you can keep us updated without making anything look suspicious.
WHAT IF WE’RE EARLY OR RUNNING LATE?
A little rain doesn’t automatically mean the proposal is off! We’ll keep an eye on the forecast as the day gets closer and talk through the best photography option if the weather is supposed to be bad.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?
This is exactly why we walk through the location beforehand. We’ll figure out where you’ll be, where we can position ourselves without looking suspicious or without becoming part of the proposal.
HOW WILL YOU STAY HIDDEN?
No problem! If you need a little help narrowing things down, we can suggest Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky locations that photograph well and fit what you have in mind. Once you’ve chosen your spot, we’ll handle the photography details from there.
