Frequently Asked Questions

Planning Tips

How long does it take to get our photos?

Per our contact, we are allowed 8 weeks for post-processing of your images after the wedding day!  We want to make sure they look their best!  Just because we are given 8 weeks does not mean we’ll take the full time, we want you to have your images just as much as you want them.  As soon as they’re ready, you’ll received them….Nicole has been known to send emails at 3am and causing someone to be late to work!

Is the wedding album worth it?

Yes yes yes!!!!  With an age of digital, having an album is truly a luxurious feeling!  There is just something to be sad about having a physical item you can show to your family, friends, and co-workers.  Something years from now, you can show your granddaughter.  Your wedding day is the start of your family and a wedding album is your first family heirloom!

Can we remove the engagement session?

Our engagement sessions are complimentary for one main reason… it’s a trial run for everyone!  Yes, we put a “value” on the time we spend hanging out, but the benefits you have from doing an engagement session with us is invaluable.  During this time, we figure out how you interact with your future spouse and you get to learn how we work!  Plus, we’ll teach you everything you need to know to rock your wedding day photos!

How do I get my photos?

Every client will received a curated online gallery of their images.  You will be able to download the gallery onto your computer and/or phone.  This is the quickest and easiest way to send them out!  No one wants to wait for the mail to see their photos!

Who holds the copyrights?

We will retain the copyrights of the images, but you will get a print release.  This means, you can print them anywhere you want, show them online, but you just cannot get paid for the photos!

Will you capture all he parts of our day?

Absolutely!  While portrait time and the all the pretty stuff I definitely our faves of the day, we will make sure to capture the full day!  About 30 days from your wedding day, we’ll sit down and come up with a wedding day timeline for your photography to make sure everything is organized and covered for you!

How many images do you deliver?

On average, we capture about 100 images an hour combined.  However, this is not a guarantee you’ll get that many.  At the end of the day, we would rather deliver you 750 AMAZING images than 800 images with some “mediocre” images.  We promise not to hold anything back that is a vital part of the day or is worthy delivering.

Do you edit all our images?

Of course we do!  The last thing we want to do is “sell” you on our style and get your hopes up, to be disappointed by your unedited photos.  We’ve worked hard to fine tune our look and style that our clients love and hire us for.  You will never receive an un-edited image from us!

Will you blog our wedding day?

Nicole blogs every wedding!  Sharing your day makes us happy… we love showcasing all your hard work and planning by telling your day from our perspective!  Not to mention, it’s a great way to share your day with those who were not able to make it.  Plus, re-reading your wedding blog on your anniversary is a perfect way to relive one of the happiest days of your life!

Do you charge a travel fee?

Yes and No. We will normally provide our services within a 60 miles radius of Cincinnati. If your venue or wedding is outside of this, we may charge a travel fee and request a hotel room. This is discussed on a case by case basis.

Do you do destination weddings?

YES YES YES!!! We are travelers by heart and will love to come to your wedding! Getting an opportunity to explore new places and find epic scenery is our ultimate dream.

Will you Photoshop me to make me look skinner?

Our belief is every person is beautiful!  We do our best to photograph you the best way possible and do not believe anyone needs to be made “skinner”.  We are not pro-photoshoppers, but we can recommend you to someone who is, if you feel you want this done.
