In two weeks, this sweet lady will be saying “I Do” at her springtime church wedding. As Alantis is heading into the final weeks of wedding prep, she took time out of her busy wedding planning schedule to celebrate with her family, friends, and of course her bridal party at her Mermaid Bridal Shower hosted by her Matron of Honor, Laura, at The Party Place in Florence  Kentucky.

Laura has a special place in my heart, as she is married to my older brother Nick. Needless to say, when she asked for my help with her niece’s shower, I was happy to return the favor. Alantis was kind enough a few years back to help with my bridal shower! However, I was not the only member of our family she recruited to turn a Little Mermaid Shower idea into a sophisticated event.  My mother was brought into the mix for her expertise in design.

The entire place looked magical, as she was able to turn a childish theme into something out of a bridal magazine. A few weeks before the event, Laura brought over a bin of miscellaneous items and ask my mom to work her magic… and she delivered in every aspect from the invitations to the hand-made custom centerpieces.

 Can we talk about this cake! My friend, Jennifer, did an amazing job!

Not only did Alantis have an amazing cake… but she had beautiful cookies to adorn her dessert table. They were not only beautiful to look at but delicious (and slightly addicting).

One of the absolutely best bridal shower games (in my opinion) is the Toilet Paper Dress Game! Who doesn’t like the idea of using an everyday item and your creative juices to put together a “beautiful” dress.

On a rare occasion, the dress falls apart to the ground!

Being the center of attention, look great on Alantis!

Altantis, Ryan and I are excited to have been chosen to capture you beautiful wedding in just a couple short weeks! You will be a stunning bride. We cannot wait to see you with Jordan surround by all those who love you!
