Hannah + Kyle

Wedding

Cincinnati Ohio is known for beautiful fall days in October and this past Saturday was no exception.  The weather was nearly perfect (minus a little rain in the morning) for Hannah and Kyle’s wedding day at French Park.

Growing up only a short walk from French Park, it was a no brainer for Hannah to pick this beautiful venue for their wedding day.  A huge bonus for this Cincinnati favorite was on their wedding it day it was full of beautiful trees full of vibrant red, orange, and yellow leaves.  Hello perfect fall trees!

Both Hannah and Kyle started their day around their closest family and friends from all parts of their life. College friends. High school friends. Her Sisters. His Brother. Each had 8 members on their side of the bridal party, so the getting ready rooms were filled with laugher, dancing, some adult beverages, and just the everyday hustle and bustle of getting ready!

Kyle was holding back his emotions as he read the sweet words from his soon to be wife!

Hannah choose to have her mother and Maid of Honor, Hannah, help her in her wedding gown.

How adorable were these bridesmaids who “snuck out” to watch their friend get into her dress fully!!!

Just before Hannah walked down the stairs to her almost husband, her father was able to catch a glimpse of her.  Normally, fathers are on the emotional side of things at the sight of their daughter in her wedding dress, but Hannah’s father was more about making his daughter smile ear to ear!  After witnessing this moment, we understand where she gets her playful nature.  Honestly, this is one of our favorite father/daughter first looks we’ve captured!

First Looks are one of the most emotional parts of the day, especially for the Groom.  This is the moment when the couple sees one another for the very first time.  As expected, Kyle was filled with nerves and anticipation leading up to this moment.  But… he was not the only one!  Hannah was beyond excited, nervous, and ready to see her groom.

With all the emotions flowing between Hannah and Kyle, their First Look was pretty epic.  Kyle was blown away from the beauty of his bride, while Hannah had the biggest smile going from ear to ear.  At times, the only words Kyle could manage to say were words of admiration of how beautiful Hannah was.

Now… this guy you may recognize from their engagement session!  Leo, their baby boy, joined them for a few photos before he had to go back home.  He was such a well behaved boy, even with all the excitement going on around him!

Que the perfect fall tree!!!!

After hanging out with their puppy, Leo, and spending a few minutes tougher after their First Look, their bridal party joined us!  Being a larger bridal party, we were a little nervous things would be extra chaotic, but this group of wonder men and women were a blast to work with. They just brought so much energy to the day.  The ladies all looked stunning in their gowns while the men had such a fun, easy going demeanor.  Getting to witness the bridal party’s love, admiration, respect, and just the overall support of Hannah and Kyle’s love was a fulfilling experience.

From the story Ryan shared… this photo happen just as on of the groomsmen ripped his pants. Thankfully, he was able to fix it well enough for the rest of the day!

Now… onto the MOST important part of the day…. the ceremony!  Kyle was once again full of emotions both before walking down the aisle with his mother and when his bride came towards him.   Instead of simply handing his daughter’s hand to her almost husband, Hannah’s father took both of them into a hug for just a moment.  (Hello tears)!

To help keep everything as personal as possible, the officiant was Hannah’s uncle!  During the ceremony, he shared a few stories about Hannah to bring laughter to the audience and the couple.  Plus, he spoke words of how wonderful they are as adults due to how they were raised by their parents.

During the ceremony, Hannah may have placed Kyle’s ring on the wrong hand.  As she was about to put it on, she looked out to the guests for an approval and was led to believe she was putting it on the correct finger.  No harm done… just a simple switch for Kyle.  Plus, these two never truly said “I Do.”  Good thing it’s not required to get married.  Talk about a few funny stories to share with their grandkids someday.

Something Hannah and Kyle did on their wedding day, we feel every couple should make time for, is to spend together, just the two of them.  They snuck up to the bridal suite and enjoyed a few minutes alone together as newlyweds!!!

After their private time, Hannah and Kyle were ready to get a few more portraits done. Majority of the day was overcast (and yes as photographers we did a happy dance), but just as it was about sunset time, the sun broke through and made its appearance for some amazing just married portraits!

Um… hello gorgeousness! A special shout out to our assistant for the day, Alex, for creating this beauty.

This wedding day was all about keeping things personal, so we have to give major props to our wonderful bride Hannah! All the décor, signage, and invitation suite were designed and created by her! Not only did she plan this wedding but she designed and created almost everything herself to keep a specific theme. Yes she had some help from her now hubs and a few others!

and now… it was time to celebrate!

When Ryan and Kyle’s boss (and beautiful wife), plus a past co-work (and her hubby) are all there…. a photo needs to be taken!

Hannah and Kyle, to say your day was amazing is an understatement.  Thank you for allowing us to be there from the proposal through the wedding day.  Watching you two interact and dote on each other all day was a perfect way to spend our Saturday.   Cheers to many years together!

Welcome to the married Kids Club,

Nicole & Ryan
