It seems just like yesterday that we did a maternity and family session for our sister Samantha. Elijah just shy of 2 years old lost his “baby of the family status” and is becoming a big brother. We headed to the Voice of America Park in West Chester for an unseasonably warm but windy day in March. 

The day started out with doing some family photos with Samantha, her husband Tim, and the kiddos (Lilly, Issac, and Elijah). Being a beautiful day out, the park was a little crowded, but we found a sweet spot on the bridge along the lake.

Elijah was super excited about the ducks! and those dimples!!!!

Samantha is the mom to one crazy toddler, Elijah. We wanted to capture this special time between Samantha and her first-born son. Elijah was a typical almost two year old… more interested in the water and ducks! So… there may have been a bit a bribery done with fruit snacks. Hey… as a photographer you must do what you have to do to get the shot! All those sweet moments between this momma and her baby boy!

Of course, we had to pull mom and dad aside to do a few quick photos of them before their newest addition arrives. Constant smiles and love flowed between them… even if Tim needed help keeping focused. (He was just as bad as the toddler at times but we only had 1 pack of fruit snacks!)

We were super excited to meet our newest nephew Micah who graced the world with his presence this past Thursday. We may have already had a mini session with him on Sunday… check out the cuteness next week!
