Shannon + Henny

Wedding

Just a short week ago, Shannon and Henny met at the alter to become husband and wife. Their wedding was full of laughter, emotion, love, and affection. Both spend their day surrounded by their closest friends and family, as they prepared for the next step in their relationship.

When Nicole first spoke to Shannon and Henny, it was at a bridal show in February. At the time, they were going for a more traditional day, which would not include a First Look. After explaining all the perks of doing the First Look, it was not surprise they opted to incorporate a First Look on their wedding day.

To this date, Henny had the best reaction to seeing his Bride for the first time! When Shannon walked up to him, he played coy for a few moments, making her wait… however, after his initial sight, he had to turn away for several moments to gain his composure before he could face his stunning Bride. Both, Shannon and Henny, shared laughter and tears of happiness for several minutes. These are moments that make us love what we do!

As most wedding days go, once the First Look is complete, the remainder of the day is a whirlwind of excitement. This wonderful couple and their bridal party celebrated all day… party bus style! The bridal party was driven around in luxury by Cincy Nights Limousines.  We couldn’t help ourselves, so we jumped on for a ride as well!Placing God in the forefront of their marriage, it was not a surprise the couple opted for a traditional wedding ceremony at Higher Faith Ministries.  Before, walking down the aisle, Henny and his groomsmen shared a prayer and blessing of his marriage. When Shannon was a younger, she told her friend Adam on her wedding day, he will sing as she walks down the aisle. Being accompanied by her father, Shannon walked down the aisle to the voice of her friend Adam singing, as they discussed many years ago. Learning that Shannon was engaged, Adam approached her; he remembered this promise he had made her years ago and had no intentions of breaking it.

Their wonderful wedding day ended on a high note! Shannon and Henny were surrounded by beautiful toast, delicious cake, and an abundance of family and friends celebrating with them at Receptions Fairfield.  The dancefloor was packed as guest dance the night away thanks to DJ Merkout. For those guest who wanted to take a souvenir home and leave a message to the  couple, they could be found playing around at the photo booth by CinciBooth (and yes we  joined in on the fun!)

Shannon and Henny, congratulations on your marriage! We are thankful you chose us to capture this amazing day for you. We began as strangers but are ending as friends! All of your family and friends are truly lovely people. Your love for one another was very evident during your wedding. We wish nothing but happiness, love, and fun in your marriage.

Welcome to the married kids club!
