On a picturesque late summer day, Hannah and Kevin, spent their time between Cincinnati, OH and Covington, KY with their families to celebrate the start of their forever together as husband and wife.
After several years of stressful planning, Hannah and Kevin finally arrived at the finished line. They are no longer engaged. After this wonderful day of love and celebration, they finally FINALLY become husband and wife.
About a month ago, we were sitting at dinner with Hannah, Kevin, and his parents. One thing mom kept stressing was how he needed to wear long stocks. Apparently at one of his brother’s weddings, he had on ankle socks and his legs were showing under the the tux. Jokingly, Ryan asked them to show their “socks” and this time, his brother was wearing totally unplanned ankle socks. Guess it runs in the family?!
In the beginning of the relationship history, Hannah and Kevin attended a wedding together but had a night cap at the Hilton Hotel in downtown Cincinnati. Kevin had previously worked at the Hilton and it was a perfect spot for them hang out. As they were enjoying their drinks, Kevin admitted this is where he had the first feelings Hannah was the one, he had been waiting for and imaged their wedding day. So, when Hannah mentioned during our final meeting, she wanted to do their First Look at the Hilton, we knew we HAD to make it happen!
When you are at the same space as your engagement photos, it’s a rule you MUST recreate one of your favorite photos. Not sure which we love better but this wedding one turned out fantastic!
As the world is changing and traditions are slowly going away with weddings, Hannah and Kevin wanted to maintain a healthy mix between traditional and non-traditional. Family was a tradition that meant a lot to them, and they chose to have their entire bridal party made up of on their siblings, nieces, and nephews.
Who else thinks Oliver, the ring bearer, will be future FBI… he already has the pose down!
Hannah and Kevin opted for a mix of traditional and non-traditional during their ceremony. Both being catholic, they wanted to honor their religion by getting married at Holy Family Church, the church they attend together but opted for a non-communion ceremony.
We love those small moments during the ceremony when the world seems to disappear to the couple.
Spending their entire relationship planning for this day, Hannah saved and dried all the rose flower petals Kevin had gifted her over the years. After they said I Do and were officially announced husband and wife, they exited the church to their family and friends celebratory cheers while being showered in the rose petals from their entire relationship together.
What a beautiful way to pay homage to the tragedy that occurred on 9-11.
One of our favorite moments of the day was during the reception. Hannah was talking with a guest and she kept smiling her beautiful Hannah smile and repeating to the phrase “I have a husband.” Almost as if she couldn’t believe it.
Hannah and her father started out with the typical formal Father/Daughter dance… only to quickly turn into a fun party style!
Hannah and KY, thank for allowing us to be a part of your whirlwind of a wedding day. Even if you had to plan the day multiple times (thanks dumb covid virus), we felt everything went amazing and you both look absolutely stunning. Cheers to the start of your new phase of life together and can’t wait to hang out at your adorable house (yes… we remember the invite from our last meeting).
Welcome to the married kids club,
Nicole & Ryan
