Amy + Winston

Yay!!! We have officially kicked off our wedding season… even though we do not have a ton of weddings this year. A big part of our slow year is we used all of our energy and focus last year on our own wedding! No complaints though, we had a great wedding and the clients that we do have are awesome!!!

One thing you learn as you grow older is that life always throws a wrench into your plans… like someone smashing into Nicole’s car on the highway causing her to hit the car in front of her. That is right, the Friday night before our first wedding of the season was spent in the ER department of Good Sam Hospital. Unsure if Nicole would be able to make the wedding, we found a little extra help a friend and fellow photographer, Bryan of Ichiban Photography.

Now that we had extra help and Nicole just a “little” banged up we headed to Pebble Creek Golf Course for Amy and Winston’s Big Day! This fun couple has been together for quite a few years. They were encouraged to date because of Johnny… our last groom of 2016! (Who also was married at Pebble Creek… feel free to check out their blog if you missed out!) They met at work, started dating, have 2 sweet boys together who have a great older brother, and now they’re married!!! Part of Amy and Winston’s Engagement Session included a mini family session with their 3 boys! Check out that cuteness on the blog!

One of our favorite parts of the day is seeing a bride all dolled up… in her dress… shoes… jewelry… hair… makeup. Amy just screamed old Hollywood glam! She was just stunning!!!!As any couple knows that wedding days do not go as planned! The day was behind a couple of hours which means the day’s timeline was out the door! No worries!!!! Amy booked us because she LOVED the First Look… we worked efficiently and ensured that we made time for Amy and Winston’s First Look! Amy was so nervous and anxious right before… but to make it even more romantic and perfect was how overjoyed Winston was with Amy’s beauty that he teared up.

We had an amazing opportunity with having an extra photographer on staff, lots of different perspectives! Every girl dreams of her father walking her down the aisle to the man of her dreams and we captured it so many ways!During the ceremony, Winston couldn’t take his eyes off of Amy!!! How sweet and romantic!As soon as the ceremony is over, all the guest joined the couple up at the alter for a group photo.

We snuck away for some just married portraits after the formals.Along the way to do their Just Married portraits, the light was just stunning and we caught these candid moment of Amy.

The first dance is always a romantic time!
