With having our own wedding this year, we limited the number of clients we limited the number of weddings we were photographing this year. We originally met Kelly and Johnny when a mutual friend of ours hired us to shoot their engagement photos. When they asked us to photograph their wedding we were honored, excited and Nicole was slightly stressed (due to the fact that our wedding is only 3 weeks after theirs!)
After our final meeting and last-minute wedding emails, we were super excited about their wedding. The days started with bridal prep at the Kelly’s mothers place. Then we collected the small details and off Pebble Creek Golf Course.
For the second time in her life Kelly wore this beautiful barrette. The first time was during her first communion and her mother kept it safe in her jewelry box for her next special day, Wedding day!
The bride arrived in style and then headed to the bridal suite for her final preps. Surround by her maid of honor and mother, Kelly got into her dress… and can we say what an absolutely beautiful bride!!! Kelly was just stunning.
Johnny patiently waited for his bride to finish her preps at the club house.
Certain moments of the day are just exciting and a first look is always one of those moments. Johnny was quick to agree to doing a first look saying “I cannot go all day without seeing her.” The few moments leading up to seeing his future wife, he was extremely nervous. Just seeing the excitement and love one their faces just made this moment even more sweet!
Right after the first look, we sweep our clients off to do some romantic portraits. Kelly just could not stop smiling and Johnny would not take his eyes off of her… This makes for the perfect portrait time!
What is a wedding day without being separated by those who accept and encourage you to be yourself!!!
During the formal photos, it started to rain… and there were concerns of the rain during the ceremony. The weather decided to cooperate during the ceremony. With the sun setting and the previous rain, the photos were stunning! Not to mention, how much this couple ENJOYED their wedding. The laughter and smiles screamed love for one another. Who doesn’t love a bride and groom with smiles on their faces while saying their vows.
Our favorite part of working with our couples to create a wedding day time line is that we get tons of time for photos! How beautiful are these sunset/just married wedding photos!!!!
Celebration to follow! Great speeches! Dances! Cake smashed in the face and dancing… what more could you ask for!!!!
We want this moment… that moment when the world just melts away and the only thing you know is the one in your arms!
How fun is the father daughter dance!
Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. and enjoy your honeymoon!
Have an amazing day!
Ryan and Nicole
