Unforgettable Wedding Photos = Moments Not Captured

Planning Tips

When planning your Cincinnati wedding, you’re focused on capturing the moments that make your day truly unforgettable. As Cincinnati wedding photographers, we understand that while some moments are best preserved forever, others are better left unphotographed. So, while we concentrate on delivering unforgettable wedding photos, there are certain times when the camera should take a break. However, don’t worry—we’ll still capture plenty of memories that you’ll treasure for years to come!

Eating Dinner – Not Ideal Wedding Photos

To be honest, nobody wants a picture of themselves mid-bite. Even though your three-tier cake may look incredible, watching guests balance food on their forks while chatting doesn’t exactly make for a frame-worthy moment. Of course, there is an exception—if it’s a cute baby eating cake, then we’re all in!

Meanwhile, while you enjoy your meal, we’ll be busy capturing other moments. Instead of focusing on chewing faces, we’ll snap photos of guests mingling during cocktail hour. After all, these candid moments will add to your collection of unforgettable wedding photos.

Everyday Prep Like Brushing Teeth and Deodorant

Of course, personal hygiene is essential, but do you really want a photo of yourself brushing your teeth or putting on deodorant? Probably not. While these prep moments are important, they lead to even more meaningful shots. Instead of catching the mundane, we’ll focus on those final touches—like when the bride first sees herself all dolled up in the mirror. That’s where the real magic happens.

However, if you’re into shower beers (yes, it’s a thing!), Ryan is totally up for capturing that moment too. Sometimes, quirky is the way to go!

The Bride Not Actually in Her Dress

Getting into your dress is a significant part of your day but not every second needs to be on film. For instance, those awkward moments when you’re half in and half out of your gown aren’t exactly memories you’ll want to frame. Instead, we’ll focus on capturing the meaningful moments—like your mom’s hand gently running down the back of your dress after all the buttons are done up. Now that’s a moment worth remembering in your unforgettable wedding photos.

Overly Intoxicated Guests – Not Unforgettable

Even though your wedding is a day of joy and celebration, there are some moments better left off-camera. For example, overly intoxicated guests or embarrassing incidents aren’t exactly ideal for your wedding album. But don’t worry—while we avoid the cringe-worthy moments, we’ll still capture all the fun and quirky ones. Whether it’s your uncle’s unique dance moves or contagious laughter filling the room, we’ll make sure your wedding day reflects nothing but happiness and joy.

Celebrating What Matters Most

At the end of the day, your wedding should be about celebrating what truly matters. That’s why we focus on capturing the moments that reflect who you are as a couple in your unforgettable wedding photos. While there are a few things we won’t photograph, you can rest assured that we’ll have all the moments that truly count covered.

Happy Planning,
