Lana + Wayne

Engagement

Walking into a Cincinnati area GameStop, you normally expect to see guys working the counter.  Needless to say, when a stunning woman is behind the counter, it catches your attention.  So much so, you will travel just a little bit further to that store to pick up your video games.

This is exactly what happened to Wayne when he saw Lana working one day.  Over the next few months, he would make further trips to specifically visit the GameStop she was working at.  It came to Lana’s attention one day that he wasn’t shopping at his closest store and she found out why.  It was her!  Wayne had a major crush on Lana. They started talking and then dating.  Fast forward a few months to Christmas season.  While at a family gathering, Wayne asked her a life changing question while down on one knee, Will you marry me?  To which she responded, “Holy Shit!”  We guess in gamer terms, that means Yes?!

Few months later, the couple stood patiently waiting for Ryan at the Bride’s Mafia Bridal Fair at JACK Cincinnati Casino.  They were drawn to him as he put off a “gamer vibe.”  After talking with him, they agreed to sit down with us.

Shortly after, we met for coffee at Panera Bread and chatted about their wedding.  The talks went great and we loved their story.  We truly felt they were a great match for us, and they felt the same.  So, after working out the logistics… we became their wedding day photographers!

With a 50’s vibe for their wedding day, it was no surprise Lana and Wayne chose The American Sign Museum for their engagement session!  Best part… we had the entire place to ourselves as they rented it out for the photos.

Lana is so proud of her ring.  She loves to show it off and will find any opportunity to do so!To add a little variety for their photos, we took a short drive up the road to Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum.  These two could seriously do no wrong!  They were made for the camera and we’re the lucky ones to capture it.

One of the perks of having 2 photographers is the different angles.  Practically the same moment but two totally different emotions captured!

Her Eyes!!!!

Ryan loved the view… so he climbed down (instead of making them)!

Lana and Wayne, the love you share for one another is very apparent.  You two were amazing to work with and we’re thankful we get to spend your wedding day with you.  Can you believe it’s only a few short months away!

Enjoy,

Nicole & Ryan
