Amanda + Randal

Engagement

“Distance is not for the fearful, it’s for the bold. It’s for those who are willing to spend a lot of time alone in exchange for a little time with the one they love. It’s for those who know a good thing when they see it, even if they don’t see it nearly enough” ― Meghan Daum

Not every relationship has the perfect situation all the time.  This was true for Amanda and Randall.  They fell in love but lived in different parts of the country for a bit during their courtship.  However, Amanda and Randall’s love for one another prevailed and they’re just 2 shorts months from being husband and wife!   Best part… their living in together in Louisville, Kentucky!

Amanda and Randall traveled up to the outskirts of Cincinnati to Loveland for their engagement session.  Why you may ask… especially since we’re located in Florence which is closer to Louisville than CincinnatiLoveland is where they started their wedding planning process.  That’s right… Randall asked Amanda to become his wife next to the Little Miami River.

As they took a stroll down the Loveland Bike Trail, Randall proposed privately to Amanda.  They enjoyed a quiet evening together, just the two of them and some wine, to celebrate their engagement.  It was not till the next day did they share the news with their family and friends.  How amazing is that?!  We were super impressed hearing how they kept their proposal day completely to themselves (and of course their puppy).

During their engagement photos, Amanda and Randall were full of smiles and tons of laughter!  Normally, we’re able to get a decent amount of “model face/blue steel” looks from our couples, but with these two love birds, it was nothing but smiles!  Just listening and watching them talk about one another and their wedding day, we witnessed so much excitement.

Their engagement session would not be complete without the addition of their sweet baby girl, Lola!  To top it off, she was wearing a bow!!!  We think every girl doggie should wear a bow!  Lola did was such a great puppy throughout the session (maybe it was all the treats she was getting… but bribery worked well)!

This was the closest to “model face/blue steel” looks we were able to get!

This location was magical! No wonder he proposed near here.

Hello… how freakin’ adorbs is this family photo!

Lola was so sleepy at this point!

Amanda and Randall, thanks so much for indulging Nicole’s sometimes crazy ideas.  Your engagement session was a blast and just makes us extremely excited for your wedding day.  We can only image how much fun you will be when surrounded by all of your BFFs.

Have a Wonderful Day,

Nicole
