Cincinnati Wedding Photographer

Hills, hill, and more hills… not really.  There were a lot of hills waked, but we’re being a tab bit more dramatic.  Living in the Cincinnati area majority of our lives and doing wedding photography for what seems like forever, this is the first time one of our lovely couples choose East Fork State Park for their engagement session.

Jessica and Sam wanted a summer filled engagement photos… and they go them!   The day was long and a bit hot (when the breeze wasn’t blowing).  But, that humid tri-state weather did not deter them for being loveable and cuddly with one another.

Jessica and Sam were major troopers… they were willing to climb up the super steep hill for a photo Nicole had envisioned… and we’re definitely happy with how it turned out!

During our first meeting with Jess and Sam, we asked about their proposal story (because we… especially Nicole… adores them).  It was Sam’s birthday, and these two went to dinner to a new place.  Jess explained was unsure of as it was out of the norm for them to go to a new spot but hey it was his birthday.  After dinner they took a “romantic” walk and sat on a bench in the alley by the restaurant. Sam’s disclaimer was according to his online research, the spot was WAY MORE ROMANTIC than in real life.   

As they chatted, Jess apologized for not being able to get him the presents he deserved.  At the time, she was still in school… and broke college student is a phrase for a reason.  Insert Hallmark worthy response now.  Sam replied to Jess (the words may not be exact… but you’ll get the gist), “The best gift you could give me is spending forever with me.”  INSERT TEARS AND GRAB TISSUES!!!!!  How could anyone say no to that line?!  Yeah, we don’t know either because guess what… surprise, Jess said Yes!!!!

Initially, these lovebirds schedule their big day for Halloween weekend, but because choose to bump up their date for personal reasons.  That means… instead of doing their engagement session in July and then having a few months for them to live with them and love them, they now only have a couple of weeks!  Jess and Sam will be getting married at the end of the month… and TBH, other than the possible Cincinnati summer time heat, we are beyond excited.  As awesome as they were during their engagement session, we can only image how extra awesome they will be on the wedding day.

Jess and Sam, thanks for spending time with us… even if it included walking up steep hills.  We are beyond excited for your wedding in just a few short weeks.  We knew from our first meeting, you were a fun couple and your engagement session just sealed that for us!  Now… we know wedding planning is almost over for you two… but please find time to enjoy what is left.  The day will be here before you know it and everything will be absolutely perfect!!!!

P.S… Jess and Sam, we totally forgot to use the smoke bombs during the session!  Guess we’ll have to find another time to use them!!!!
